Change is Inevitable

Happy New Year! With the turn of the calendar, here is Tom Larsen again. 2016 was an interesting year in my world. Did some different things. Learned some important things. Changed my location. Had some interesting and some difficult times. But, that’s the past. It informs the future.

Suffice to say, opportunities came and some went and now I am here to continue the role of sharing what I have learned. I have setup this entirely new blog site called Life Off Balance.

Most important over this past year is my conscious awareness about change and choice – how we resist it, how we embrace it, who embraces it, who does not, who creates or what causes it, what it looks like, along with many other questions. I expect that over the next months, my blogs will be peppered with subjects that have to do with change and choice both personal and professional choices and personal and professional change. It’s what I have always written about, but, now see it more clearly. I hope you stay with me for the journey. Hopefully once in a while it might make you think about your change/choice defaults.

Uber was a new kind of transportation option (instead of taxis/busses). Blockbuster and Netflix in their own ways were new ways to get … Continue reading You thought you understood disruption
